Okay, so grit might not be THE most important ingredient for Uncommon Freedom®, but it sure is at the top. The power of passion and perseverance is essential if you are going to live a great life and reach your potential.

One of my favorite examples of grit from the Bible comes from the story of Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt in the Biblical book of Exodus. Moses’ grit in the face of obstacle after obstacle from a hostile foreign leader not only helped his people escape slavery and make their way to the promised land, but it changed the course of history. This story is a great reminder that pursuing the promised land and God’s will for our life will bring many challenges with it but the reward is worth the fight.

I also address the natural temptation to fall back into the “bondage” of security when life is tough. How will YOU change the course of history with your grit?
